I bought these to replace my Shure e3c earphones. The Shure earphones worked well enough, however, they were uncomfortable (even with all the sleeve options they come with) and the low end was really bad unless you had them shoved way too far inside your ear (ie: in a potentially unsafe manner). The Super.fi 4vi's are none of the above. They are the most comfortable earphones I have ever wore. This is coming from someone who has always had problems with earphones rubbing or just found them in general uncomfortable and annoying after 10 minutes.
