Decent sound and good isolation. The key feature is that they are very durable. The band uses metal parts throughout and the jack is very sturdy. I have had these for more than 2 years and only the vinyl on the earpads is showing any wear. 3 years now owning these, and almost a whole 2 years after my previous review these headphones are still going strong! This is a testament to Panasonic's durability. And I use these headphones A LOT!
During this time, I even went to the Sony MDR-D333LW headphones. I went to these mostly for the convenience of the cord (read the previous post). The first pair was defective out of the box, month later I got a replacement from audiocubes, and in less than 6 months the cord developed a short in it. Due to the type of cord and retractable mechanism, I wasn't able to repair them at all.

To start, these headphones are very comfortable, block out a lot of noise, and doesn't omit noise when playing in quiet areas (my mom and I tested it). I got them in light blue and love them from the moment I opened the box. They got here quickly from Japan, just 5 day if you can believe it (Indiana is where i currently live). Audiocubes kept me informed of everything from day one of ordering to shipping tracking numbers.
The sound is very good for casual headphones. It has good bass and the sound overall is very good. The style is nice as well, along with the carrying bag.

These headphones, while not audiophile status, is very good. First of all, these surpasses canalphones and ear buds and have a nice surrounding sound. While you can find better sounding headphones, they phones are pretty stylish. Just got a pair of these a couple months ago, [the white ones with the beige band], and boy am I in love.
Sound quality is pretty good [for the price that was paid], and the fact that the headphones cover my entire ear blocks out pretty much all the sound around me is quite helpful in a house full of screamers.
Comfort-ability wise, these headphones were great to wear on my 5 hour plane ride, not too tight, nor too heavy on the head.

I'd had these headphones for a while now and they’re great. The retro design on these headphones makes them very sleek and attractive. Not to mention they come in a wide variety of colors.
The quality of these headphones is fairly good as well. The close design doesn't allow any sound leakage so you won't have to worry about disturbing your neighboring passengers on the bus or at work. Audiocubes was great! The shipping was very quick, once shipped I got them in under four days. However, I did order them during golden week so it took some time for them to be processed and shipped. However, the customer service was great, they promptly answered all my emailed questions and were very nice.
As for the headphones they are fantastic. The packaging is extremely classy and is only a hint of the awesomeness contained. The headphones feel sturdy, are lightweight and very comfortable. The shipping took some time but the customer service was courteous and responsive so it was OK.

These headphones are super awesome! Great natural sound (Panasonic does this well), durable, super stylish. I've had these for over a year now and I still have people stopping me on the street and asking where I got these. I have the retro-green and band-aid tan headband. They also second as great ear-warmers in the winter time, wile waiting for the train or bus.
On their durability, I got these as a replacement after having gone through 3 pairs of Sony MDR-D66 (Eggos). Those would frequently break on me, usually having a short occur in one of the cords to the right earphone. These on the other had have taken a beating. A friend of mine recommended the Panasonic RP-HTXT Retro Piano Painted Headphones to me once he arrived wearing then. At first I was inmediately in love with the retro look and for I had been looking for some good headphones I started investigating about them. After years of using the Ipod Headphones I needed some better new quality Headphones mainly for composing or playing piano without disturbing my inmediate neighbours. Havng compared the price in several local stores i found them on AudioCubes way cheaper so i finally decided to take the step and order. They aren't sound canceling but I didn't really mind. I got the green ones and the color is great! The green isn't that bright, and looks totally retro. Hey people! I recently ordered 2 pairs of these, one in black one in limegreen. I ordered them seperately so today my green pair arrived, in 4 days from Japan to Norway, OMG! :D anyways these look like heaven and sounds pretty damn good!
