These are probably the best headphones for a casual music listener to buy, while higher end than something you might find at best buy, I myself think it might be cheaper than a pair of overpriced Sony MDRs. The sound you get from the PRO5MS is clear and crisp, the headband is comfortable and I say this having worn them for 12 consecutive work hours. The ear muffs are strong and long lasting, having lasted me over 2 years without issue. The coiled cord is ideal and makes for storage your music device in a far pocket or backpack little issue. Again I can't recommend these enough for someone looking for Monitor Headphones over a pair of clip ons. …read full review

How I love LOVE my new headphones, it is just you and the bass and everything else you hear so very clearly. Surrounded by music and nothing else. And no one else gets annoyed around you when listening in public. No sound is coming out it just stays with you. It is a warm sound and everybody who tried them on, the eyes pop out mouth open and a silent wow comes out.. So yes you can say I am very very f....ing happy with my def favorite new toy. …read full review

I've been using these headphones for about 2 weeks now and I really do love them. The bass response is great, and they do a fantastic job of blocking out noise. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and it's really hard to find many flaws in this product for the price. The one thing I did notice is that the headphones did start to hurt my ears after a while, but I could attribute that to my large ears. I use these for both audio mixing, and just casual listening, and for the price, these headphones can not be beat for quality and style. …read full review

These headphones are absolutely flawless. I am so happy with them. The bass especially is very strong and super responsive and highs are really strong as well, they're just brilliant everywhere really. The louder it is the better these headphones get, so turn it up! I listen to a lot of dance music and these headphones have brought a totally new dimension to it all. I also own a set of ATH-EM7 headphones which have exceptional clarity and crispness, beyond the ATH-PRO5MS's, but do not have near the strength that these have. I mean, these headphones are just so powerful it is unbelievable and the overall sound that they produce is extraordinary. TUR …read full review

The painted finish on these headphones look 100x better in person than on the computer. You have to see it to believe. I have the camoflage version, but there is no doubt in my mind that these look good in any available colorway. I have had Grado SR-60's and Sennheiser PX100's, so I am used to open headphones. However, these are a tremendous value dollar for dollar for any type of cans. I would give the nod to the PX100's for straight out of the ipod audio, but if you have a headphone amp - these are killers for under 60 bucks! Audio Technica has a huge thumbs up from me. …read full review

My last pair of headphones were Audio-Technica ATH-PRO30, and I loved them. So I decided that my next pair would be the next level up, that's why I tried the ATH-PRO5MS. The sound is rich and way better than I personally thought they'd be. They seem to be just a little smaller around the ears than the ATH-PRO30 that I had which allows a little background noise in, but more than makes up for in sound and the awsome camo color. I liked them so much I also got a pair for my brother-in-law who uses them in his band and has a lot of good feedback as well about them. Of course his last pair were logitech's, I tried them once and they were old, cut in and out on on …read full review

This headphones are great, I DJ at some parties in Mexico, sometimes without DJ monitor so I needed some headphones that cancelled the main amps noise, I was using some friend sony MDR headphones, but I have to say these audio-technica cost half the sony and bring you same sound quality and noise cancelling, and they look cooler because of the camo colors. I have to say too that the materials used in this one are great for a $ 55 headphones. In march i was in Shibuya shopping for records and I saw these at 10, 000 yens at a Dj equipment shop, ( but at that time I was running out of money, so I couldnīt get them there ). I came back to Mexico and discovered …read full review

These headphones are very good. I was looking at various entry level monitor headphones and I can say that I couldn't find something that offered more bang for your buck. They work very well and provide incredible sound. In addition to great sound, they look pretty sweet as well. I really cannot recommend these headphones enough for the entry level DJ's or audiophiles. They provide good base as well as treble. While the base is pretty strong and can really rumble, it does not overpower the higher frequencies, which is nice. The padding and form also does a great job of cutting out background noise. I did notice that they can be a bit snug and can complicate …read full review

What can i say, Audio-Technica have done it again, these are the second pair i have bought so i think that says it all. If you can get over the size of them you're in for a treat. Amazing sound quality which to my mind can't be beaten. Oh yes and i like the fact the lead only comes from one headphone too. Enjoy! …read full review

Awesome headphones, I love the camo look. They sound great and fit comfortably. I wish they could have made the cord a bit longer though. As for the ordering and shipping, it was a bit slow on the front end but once it left Japan, it got here quick. Again, you cant beat the price especially now that they knocked off ten dollars. …read full review

For the price, these can't be beat. They sound great, isolate background noise, and look bad-ass. The only problem is that I can only wear them for short periods of time. Otherwise, my ears hurt. But I guess I can't really complain about that too much since they isolate background noise so well. AudioCubes service was perfect. These even got to my place BEFORE an ATI remote I ordered online a few days later. That's why I always use these guys when ordering audio equipment from Japan. …read full review

Excellent set of cans, rare finding 28,000Hz in cans under $100, so a great experience. The headphones can get uncomfortable for long term use, so reversible phones and the ability to have a range of movement on the headphones greatly helps as you can wear it on one ear. Overall awesome headphones for the money. The camouflage is also very very stylish. I was asked by various people on subways where I DJ'ed and where can they buy this. Thanks audiocubes. …read full review

Just received these awesome headphones and I'm very pleased with their sound. Everything is crystal clear and the bass isn't muddy or boomy but nice and tight. These are easily the best looking set of phones I've ever owned, and as far as build quality, they are light but sturdy, and the fit is just right. I don't see myself having any problems with them. Kudos to AC on their shipping as well, from Japan to east coast USA in less than a week! Simply awesome. …read full review

NEVER DISTORTS!!!!! Amazing cans, every tune coming out a Zen Vision: M and an amplified laptop never distorts even when maxed out. And did i mention the shipping? As soon as it reached the US (After about 4 days) and reached SF for customs, i expected it to spend a few days there, but 8 hours later it was at my door! That means the package never stopped moving as soon as it reached customs. THANKYOU AUDIOCUBES!! :D (must admit after about 4 hours, these cans hurt to take off. They clamp onto your head to allow awesome sound isolation, but if your ears stick out it may force them back pretty hard) Never seen a pair of cans so well made and sound so …read full review

Those headphones sound very good (gorgeous bass, sound reproduction is very linear and neutral, never clips) and are perfect for what I use them for: monitoring home studio recordings. Also the cable (although quite short) is attached in a convenient way for this and the sound isolation is excellent. I had to put some lubricant on the hinges of the cups because they 'creaked' a little when I turned my head. However, my big complaint is comfort: they hurt my ears after just a short while because of their design (I've never had this problem before with headphones), there is a sort of hard 'cup' inside the headphones which presses against my ears. I'm getting a …read full review

These were the first pair of technica's I bought from Audio Cubes, and they got me hooked. I love them. The sound is great, and the camo look is awesome. I have never had a problem with an order from audio cubes, and the service is always great. Good pricing on products and shipping, what more could I ask for. The headphones sound great, everything is nice and clear, and they are super stylish, and down right cheap for what you get. Thanks! …read full review

The world of cans is such a boring one... silver, black, silver, black and now... CAMO?!? I got these headphones about a year ago and I've never had a better all round experience with a set of cans. As lightweight as they are (and believe me, they're lightweight), they're the most durable set I've had. The sound quality is audiophile aproved and I've never EVER had more comments about a cool set of headphones... ever. Best buy I've made online to date! …read full review
