I bought this case a few weeks ago and its a VERY good case for your portable headphones (specifically made for ATH, but others probably fit well too). This case fit my ESW10jpn perfectly, and since those headphones are the same size as the ESW9 it would fit well with those too. The case is nicely padded and includes places to stick the headphone cable, as well as a Velcro pouch that sticks to the inner lid, which can house your audio player well. This is an excellent case for the ATH-ESW-9 Sovereign Wood Headphones and will more than adequately protect your investment in headphones! The case is perfectly sized for the headphones, a short extension cable, and a portable player. The case has a polyethylene shell with a nylon or polyester cordura-like outer cover, and a nylon coil zipper. The inside of the top half of the case is lined with a looped fabric that works with a small mesh pouch that fits neatly between the space on the bottom half of the case.
