Instructional notes:
1) Proper flow is achieved only when water is filled up to indicated level. The reason is that tilted Plexiglas planes should be immersed to properly reflect water that is pumped with two pumps on top. At the same time, if water table exceeds the mark, the "feet" will get attached themselves to different elements on top. That will require manual removal. If you do everything right, the system will run for weeks without problems. Summary: keep water table as indicated in instruction.
2) Water. I have found out that regular tap water is unhealthy for this system. It is contaminated with microorganisms that start growing everywhere - on " …read full review

The effect is mesmerizing and enjoyable to watch, but they are higher maintenance than expected. The jellyfish get covered with little bubbles after a while from the agitated water and tend to get stuck at the top. In addition, once this happens, their tentacles get knotted. This requires a simple but, for me, an all-too-frequent process. The top of the aquarium is removed; the tentacles are untangled, and the bubbles are shaken off the surface. …read full review

This product is truly awesome! Fro afar and even from up close, it is difficult to tell that the jellyfish are not real! My 5 year old was a bit spooked at first as she was convinced they were real. The instructions and DVD are all in Japanese of course, but the DVD gives you step-by-step set-up directions, and the visuals make it much easier. The Aquapict has two modes: Auto, where the jellyfish swim with regular background colors,
and Deep Sea, where the background colors are deeper and colder. The set runs on AC power (A free voltage converter for 110V households is included); no batteries needed. Note that the tank needs to be cleaned out on a regular …read full review
