The sound quality for mid range and high frequency is awesome. I purchased a Sony NWZ-A816 walkman and switch between the stock earbuds and these. I find that both sets offer great stereo separation but these earbuds definitely offer more on the mid and high end. The Sony earbuds offer great sound and definitely have more bass presence. I trade off depending upon what kind of listening mood I'm in. I still have yet to find the ultimate earbuds for my taste but these do offer some good quality sound. …read full review

Not so good... even after breaking these in, the low end bass sounds a bit muddy, comparable to the stock iPod earbuds. Awful treble and high end separation just isn't there. Volume is good though, but the overall sound is a bit disaapointing considering other Denon stuff is great. But I recommend you avoid these. Also, there is a lot of noise from the rubber cord.
On a good note, they are very comfotable and easy to fit in the ear. Some of the msot comfortable earbuds I have ever used. But the sound quality isnt there. For the same price, just stick with Sony's. …read full review

As denon is power and fidelity, this ones are that, it's just that you need to get the power from the source. I own an iPod 5.5g and a Sony ericcson w880i mobile with megabass and there lies the difference: t …read full review

I have always loved Denon for itīs equipment and the way the musical quality is always put first, and these earphones are no exemption, although they look very good too! Apart from a very high sensivity of 110 dB/mW the sound is what you would expect from a Denon product: Loose, open and transparant with great detail in all sounds. Even when listening to 128 kBs MP3 songs details are revealed which you normally would not have heard when listening over "ordinary" equipment.
I owned the Sharp HP-MD33S first but unfortunately I blew up the right driver unit due to a fault in my computer. Compared to the Sharp the Denon does however has some advantages, namely: …read full review
