Well, first off the comfort. They are very comfortable. At first they were slightly tight on my head (at least compared to my old sony v600s). This soon passed and now I can barely tell they are on my head. The size is a little large, but Im not going to be using these in public. For a home computer, or an electric drum kit these are great. The sound: The sound is very crisp, clear and these can get very loud. On the other hand, the bass is overpowering. I have to turn the bass on my computer/system below default/50%. Besides the bass, the sound is great. If the bass wasnt as strong, the rest of the sounds would sound even better. It feels like the …read full review

Well i recently purchased these headphones and I must say, I was extremely impressed with the packaging. They came in 2 cardboard boxes and the retail box, nothing was damaged so the shipping was excellent. Price on shipping was very low for such a big deplacement and they arrived on time (7 business days). Other than that, the comfor was an exreme factor for me, I spend a lot of time on the computer and was pleasently surprised by the comfort, never had any high end quality headphones with such great comfort. From the picture they do not look very nice, tell yourself they look better in real life, although they are big, they are also very stylish. What real …read full review

These are a great value. I recently purchased a pair of ATH-A700's to replace my custom Soloz Audio modded Beyer DT770 Pro/80 cans. They had a Cardas cable and black leather pads, but I needed money to fund new speakers so I sold them and got these as a replacement. Both cans were/are primarily used for gaming on my PC. I have other cans for listening to music. The Beyers were slightly better for games and music, but for the price difference these really hold their own. They are fairly comfortable, a little bulky, but not bad and sound great with my Auzen X-Fi Prelude, Soloz Audio Reference IC and custom Millet Max amp. …read full review

Pretty comfortable cans (small ears may rub against the inside plastic cover of the driver, which is painful). 3D wings are incredibly comfortable and do not take any user adjustment. The highs on this can are very colored, but a decent can for its price. …read full review

Very very good headphones!!! Clear, detailed, crisp sound. A little big but that really isn't to bad. They do an excellent job of keeping external sound out and keeping internal sound in without any echoing at all. I would recommend these to anyone and for the price, they are a steal! They knock the spots out of my Sennheiser HD 465's …read full review

Realy pleased with these headphones. Good bass, good detail and also some dynamic. To get the best from them, I must plug them on my Cambridge 840A amp. They can play well with a portable cd reader but they really deserve a good amp to get the best from them. The other good thing about them is that when you listen music with them, people around you don't have to listen. I must also mention that they are very comfortable to wear. …read full review

I just got these headphones today and so far love them to death! The highs are so clear, the mids are wonderful, and the bass is impressive compared to any other headphone I've worn. I ordered them last wednesday and got them today (Thursday), a little over a week. Which wasn't bad considering the weekend inbetween. However, I was not impressed with the USPS tracking. As of right now, I'm wearing my headphones, and the USPS website still says my headphones are in Chicago. …read full review

EXTREMELY CLEAR with an amp on them! Definitely benefit from an amp! sound very clear. I am a bit of a bass head and like the low frequencies a little above the sound plane, and these fit the bill accordingly. If you are looking for a more flat response, check out the a700 "airs" they have a lot more smooth response graph. A killer deal at this price point! …read full review

sound: Excellent details from a can at this price point. They have great bass and detailed highs. Mids aren't it's strong point, but I assume it's due to its closed nature. I listen to all types of music, indie rock, electronic, female vocalists, etc. It does well in most, but excells with female vocals. It doesn't have the fastest attack, but again, at this price point, it's very acceptable. For me, what makes this can excel, is it's bass... both quantity and quality - it's got it. It's definitely got that fun factor. comfort: Large earcups surround my ears completely, and the soft pleather compresses very well to give a very cozy and comfortable feel. O …read full review

These headphones are the best buy for the price, period. I couldn't believe at first how great these phones play the music. Every note feels alive. The frecuencie response really shows in the real life, the bass sounds powerful and deep and the middle is very well balanced, the highs are extremely clear. The soundstage is excellent. They have the ART logo on each can and believe me, the music will be art when you listen it with the ATH-A700 Art. Besides, these A-T's are extremely comfortable, the are closed and cover the ears completely. You can use them for hours and never feel tired, maybe hot but no so much. Thanks AudioCubes for such a gre …read full review

I've had my ATH-A700s for two months now and find them to be wonderful in many ways. The blue metallic looks great, the comfort is exceptional (I wear a large hat size), and best of all is the sound. I use them with my iPod and am very, very happy. Also, I usually don't listen with the volume way up, but still am able to get extremely satisfying sound with these. I don't think you can go wrong for the money. …read full review

Fantastic headphones! Moving from sennheiser hd280's to hd555's, these headphones blow them both away. The most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, no fatigue after prolonged use. Excellent soundstage, clear crisp base, great mid's, great highs, couldn't ask for more from these cans for the price. …read full review
